POLITICS:

·         Post Mamta’s operation ‘pull plug’, Congress as always, is speaking in different voices ranging from couldn't- care- less, bravado, conciliatory to, outright buffoonery!

·         Sad end to 'Team Anna' with group splitting to various factions. When Focus was lost, the end came tumbling down..A great pity.

·         Who's ' true son of the soil’? Thackerays, themselves are migrants as per Bal Thackeray's father's autobiography who moved from Bihar to MP and set up base in Maharashtra!!

NETWORKS:

·         Hello! Why do we see only Peter, Paul, and Mary - ‘same old 20 faces' on TV discussions again and again representing some 10% of population? Where is the other 90% - 'Aam admi', in panel discussions?

NATIONAL PARADOX:

·          Present IPL going rate is Rs. 1500 crores cash down; we are No. 1 child- killer Nation in the World due to, a) cracker fire; 2) malnutrition 3) Mal-treatment in hospitals as there isn’t enough money to take care of ‘em!

·         One thought Olympic Heroes Mary Kom, Saina Nehwal, Sushil Kumar, Vijay Kumar etal will come on Sahara Ads. Perish the thought! It’s only cricketers who can line up and ‘warn’ you about adulteration of food, drugs etc..!
